Favorite Book

What is your favorite book, or series of books? I don't have a favorite since I'll read nearly anything. If I did have to choose, I would pick "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. What would you choose, and what is it about?

That's hard to say. I've been reading ever since I've been old enough to hold a book and my favorites have changed over the years. But I like historical novels and the novels of Lindsey Davis (the Falco series) Patrick O'Brian (Naval) and the Sharpe series are amongst my favorites amongst many others. (Jane Austin not excluded)

My favorite series is the Harry Potter series. I simply love the world of magic and Jo's magic with language and characters is simply mindblowing.
My fav books are The Alchemist, Things Fall Apart, The Color Purple,...(the list is growing). All these books are simple to read but the message in them are very deep.
