You might want to try http://www.conceptart.org/forums/index.php
They have a lot of incredible info on there to help you out as you go and a place to put a sketchbook thread so people can help you improve.

my daughter is also equally interested in drawinng and watches the "MAD" programmein"POGO" channel on every suday at 10.30 am. It's really very good programme and you get these drawing kits inall leading book stores across India. You can enquire about this.

Hello dear laurika. I have not seen around for a long time, but I am very happy to read your discussion today on the topic of drawing though I am not able to offer you any help about drawing. I stop by to say hi to you.
When I was a teen, I used to love drawing a lot, especially drawing pictures of animals with some stories. But that was only my interest as a teen, not later on. hehehe. Thanks. Take care.

Hey william, thank you very much for stoping to say hi. How are you? I hope that I will be more around now. I did miss you.
You know that is interesting that you loose your pasion in drawing, in my case , the most thing i did like a teen follow me to the present.

Depends how good you are at drawing. basic exercises always help no matter how experienced you are. Another point and a exercise i use is speed anatomy drawing basically i just give myself a time limit and draw anatomical figures as fast as i can trying to keep correct proportions then i reflect at the end how i could improve then i go again. it really improved my anatomy drawing skills.
