I get alot of forwards in my email from friends. Often times, I reforward them to other friends, but many have said that they don't like receiving them and often just delete them. What about you, do you mind getting forwards and do you open them? No, I am not going to forward you anything. LOL.

I have four pages of friends and I don't recall ever having received a forward request from any of them. If I did, I am afraid that I would be the end of the line and I would query why it had been sent. But what worries me is that I have so many friends, we have friends in common, but they don't send me this stuff, but they do you. What's wrong with me? (Don't you dare start). Whilst I was spying on your friends lists I saw the new pictures. They are all great but the profile shot of you - OMG. You are so beautiful. I shan't, but that is something well worth forwarding.

Well first of all, I meant in your regular email, not here on mylot. Silly. So see, no one is sending me anything special. That is as far as forwards are concerned. As for my picture, thank you very much. I am very flattered. Just when I was starting to feel old, you had to go and ruin it. LMBO.

I really don't mind getting forward e-mails some I forward on, others I don't. I really dont care for the ones that have been forwarded like half a dozen times because of viruses so I usually wont forward those because I don't care for them myself.Have a great day!

I don't really like forwarded messages. They not only bombard my inboxes but also has intolerable content at times. My officemates when I was still working used to send out forwarded messages everytime to everyone. That's were I got between silly and green jokes to strong images like what you shared in one of the discussions in the past. I was really annoyed whenever they did that. Our company decided to cut the use of outlook for most employees. That's good. I stopped getting bothered since from that time on, only work related emails that sometimes I didn't get to receive because of full inbox became freely accomodated.
Talking about my present, I occasionally receive spams in my personal emails now that I only stay home. But that's okay. They can easily be managed.

I know alot of companies now limit their employees to the type of emails they can both send and receive. I have tried sending a couple of e-cards to my boyfriend at work and they come back, because his system won't allow it.

For me, it really depends on the forwarded e-mail content and how much time I have to read it. If it's one of those chain e-mails that says you must forward this to a certain number of people or something bad will happen to you, I usually just delete them. I can't believe there are actually some people who still believe in those e-mails.

Well, obviously there are plenty of people who still believe in them, because I get them often enough. LOL.

I do open all the emails i get, whether its a forwarded mail or straight away, Because my friends do not spam me, and if they forward me something than it would have something important for me...and i don't have to miss anything which is important for me..

Usually they are jokes which are forwarded onto me, I will read them, then I usually forward them on to my friends if I deem them funny, I don't like emails which ask you to send the email onto ten people otherwise it's unlucky or something, I just delete those. Usually it's a cursory glance or they are filtered straight into spam. I like receiving funny pictures, especially of animals now those I do welcome.

I know exactly how you feel... I don't mind getting them... and I know exactly where my delete button is! lol
If they don't like them... delete them... if they like them... read them... and then if they like forward them on.
don't complain!! lol

I actually do not enjoy getting email forwards from my numerous friends. I know that my friends mean well when they forward me jokes, inspirational ditties, cartoons and more, but I really don't have time to read all these things. Rarely do I even find the jokes funny! I of course have never told my friends this and hope that they don't see my response here on myLot! As for the crazy chain-style things that one is supposed to pass on to x number of friends, I NEVER pass those on.

Some people really don't like them. I haven't figured out why. They don't bother me a bit either.

I don't like them. They have to be really funny or something for me to re-foward. Most of the time I just go down the list of FW: and delete them all. My friends know I love them and some will forward when soemthing is really funny and I don't mind but please don't forward every little thing.
I stay home and my time is valuable...lol. I didn't feel bad sitting and reading them when I worked but now I don't have as much time on the computer.

I know quite a few people who ask that they not be sent them and I never really wanted to ask, because I didn't want to be impolite. I just respected their wishes.

I have a large list of people that I reforward things to - MOST of them love it. I have had a few friends ask me to stop sending them stuff (and I do) and my brother often complains that he gets the same thing from me and then our two sisters. But, he doesn't want any of us to remove him because he might miss something!

Some forwards are really nice and I do keep them. And so I don't mind getting them.
I just hope my friends have most taste to send me the more decent kinda forwards only. :P
But there is a limit. No matter how nice the forwards are, one should try to space them out. Don't send too many too soon because that can only resemble spam. :PP

I hate to get forwarded things. It is so easy to copy and paste them into another email if I want
to send them on to friends.
A lot of times, any pictures embedded do not even
come out when they have been forward several times.
A school teacher friend of mine forwarded some thing that said some outrageous things. I checked it on
Snopes.com and found that it was totally false. When
I asked her about it, she said most of that stuff
she didn't even read, she just forwarded it on.
Really makes you wonder about what she passed on
in her classroom.
Mostly, I just delete them without reading.
