I have learned it about 2 years, before that, I used to hatha yoga. I want to say they are very different. Hatha are basic, but ashtanga is more challengeable and interesting. I love it extraordinarily. :) Do u agree with me?

I joined Yoga class every sunday, but I have no idea what kind of Yoga it is. I thought they are about the same, maybe I just have lack of information about Yoga. I like it thought, it is calm and slow and relaxing.. I am now joining Yoga dance now which is also fun because we use music and dance according to Yoga position..

This kind of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with progressive series of postures-- a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. the result is improving circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind. I'v got some clips vedioes. if you are interested with it ,I 'd like share with you.

I've not tried Astanga as it looks too physical for me. I might try a taster class, as it does look interesting I do Iyengar yoga, which I feel is best for me. I like holding the poses for a length of time to really feel the muscles relax and soften/lengthen.

I might just do that QueenieLee, it sounds fun. I think there is a centre near by, not sure if I'll switch completely as I've done Iyengar for a long time.
