How would you advertise MyLot?

I was thinking of putting up flyers around my town advertising MyLot in order to gain some referrals. Don't worry, I know how to advertise on the internet. Although, I could use a good ad for Craigs List as well as where the best place to post the ad.
Anyway, I was wondering if any of you had ever advertised MyLot offline and had any ideas of what to say on the flyer?

Good ideas! I noticed that you're 16, my son is turning 16 March 20th and I'm going to invite him to join the MyLot community. Right now he hangs out at Braingle, hopefully I can make a convert out of him!

Well, I was contemplating on promoting Mylot with my parenting groups in the Community Centre. We met up once a week and I guess I could just stand up and give a briefing of these great site. Who knows, a handful might just sign up.
For the flyers, maybe you can give handouts near a school or shopping centre. Give details like, making friends online while making money, you know the basic points. Hope that it works. Best of luck.

Hi x7heavens, I love your avatar! Thank you for the tip about handing out flyers around schools. However, I'm not brave enough to do that! I was thinking of just hanging them up at grocery stores and wherever else I could find a community bulletin board.
