Do you live your life a day at a time?

There are a lot of people who keep worrying about tomorrow and what it could bring. I don't blame them. There really is so much to worry about especially for people who do not have that much in life. We have been told time and again not to worry about tomorrow and live our life a day at a time instead. But that is easier said than done. I really do not worry much about tomorrow but there are times when I get anxious especially if I have some issues.
How about you?

I am probably a week at the time. I am not that care free and worry free to say that I dont care what tomorrow will bring but I am not that stressed out at the same time.

I dont know why I pressed post when I wasnt finished. I do worry about the future but only for the things I can change and improve. What is the point of me not sleeping about interest rates going up when I cant change that on the other hand If I know that I have to save money to pay for something than that is something I can control and change and I give my self permition to think about it :)

Yes I believe we are intended to live each day at a time. Tomorrow never comes, There's Just today! There are no good reasons to worry about anything, anytime. I, too sometimes get anxious, but I know that everything will turn out as it should., because there are no accidents nor happenings, everything is part of the Grand Design.

i live one day at a time but am still looking out for my future. i live to the best of my abilities as i can and i try to make the most of each day so as not to regret having done, or having not done something that could have changed my life.
as they say.. and i keep in mind... never regret anything that made you smile.

Hello dolce. From the sense of living one's life a day at a time, I think that I have to pay attention to the quality of my life today as well as tomorrow. I cannot just live my life a day at a time. There are still so many numerous tomorrows for us to meet with and there are still so many plans that are being or will have to be carried out that we cannot ignore them. I think that I am the type trying to make both both ends meet even if I cannot always be a success, but I am trying and trying. Here I do not mean worry, because I do not think that worry will be of any help to me. I love to put my plans into practice if possible. Thanks.

I for the most part do try to live my life one day at a time, but sometimes a wrench is thrown in the day and I get to worrying about what tomorrow will bring. Most times it has something to do with family more then myslef, so I spend time worrying about them I guess, but when they are going ok, then it is back to one day at a time.

I could not live on day at a time. I like to dream about the future and what it holds. I worry about what is in store for all of us. It would be lovely i think to live one day at a time.

I'm one of the people that tend to worry a lot. I base a lot of my actions and decisions on gut feelings, but something that worries me immensely, is when I don't have a gut feeling on something, or if I'm unsure. I don't want to regret telling people I love them, or not doing something. Anytime that anyone leaves my house I tell them to drive safe, even though I usually get eyes rolled at me for this. But I do it, because maybe it will help remind them, and I know I'd feel guilty if I didn't and then they got into a car crash. I usually tell all my friends and family I love them at the end of every phone call, just because I don't want to regret not saying it. I mean, what if I never get the chance to tell them again? It's something that scares me. I'm not obsessive over these things but I have incorporated these rituals into my life to ease my mind.

I don't believe in worrying about things which have not happened or may not happen but it is important to think of the future, make plans, aims, goals and think in the wider sense of the future of the planet and try to preserve what is precious and not destroy our environment.
Personally I do see each day as something new to be treasured and not wasted, so in that sense I do live a day at a time.
