I just went through some what of a rough weekend. A girlfriend of mine tried to committ suicide, and I couldn't get there, as my son was having a sleep over. The next day I went to her, and brought her back to my place so I can support her and help her to what she needs. Then she told me at the hospital she was at didn't even bother with her, she waited along time to be stitched up, and then waited for her blood suger to come at a normal level, but because of her state they didn't let her stay for the 24 observation, or to see a physc. nurse. They just let her go. Why is it when a person is in need mentally and emotionally, and they turn a blind eye. I have worked in the medical field and always see this happen. I have tried to speak up, and do something but nothing seems to get done. Why is it that when we call for help, we get sh*t upon, and then told that we are going through a rough time and we can get through it. I doubt it at most time. What does it take to get proper help from the medical profession and then get turned down, or told to go else where and then pushed out the door. It's horrbile to see, and hear at the same time. Like WTF is up with that?
