Look in the last place first!

Have this ever happen to you? You are searching for something that has a zillion hiding places so you dutifully go thru each possible location. Just as your good humor is about to come to a frustrating end, you come to the last of the hiding places and voila! there it is! So next follows this conversation with yourself... " You should have just start looking in here first." " Yeah, next time I would."

This does not only happen once. It ALWAYS happens to me lol.. I'm too dumb to learn from my mistakes i Guess... And in the end I always go like... MAN I could have checked there first! But I never do and never will do. The most recent one was I searched thru my entire house, even cupboards and closets, trying to find my brother's gameboy charger. Finally when I gave up, I decided to look in the most obvious place, my drawer at my bedhead. It was there. I could kick myself! lol

LMAO!!! When you find found it, you will wonder why you did not look in the most obvious place.... but then you were in the midst of searching...nowhere looks obvious!

Not next time, every time I need to search for something I search in the last place I had been or whoever lost it have been I have been lucky enough to find it immediatly 98%.

Yes, it has happened to me. I usually look for the missing object first in the places where I usually store, keep, or leave it. However, the fact that I am looking for the object means that it is not in the location I usually place it. Having known that, I learned to look among the least possible places I would leave the thing.

I hate it when that happens!!! I think for me when I start looking for something, I start with the place I thought I had put it and then just keep looking. Sometimes I do find it and other times I do not. There are some things that this happens to me every time. Some day I might learn!!!

I wonder if reverse pyschology will work? Think of a place as the last place you will look and start from there. But won't that be putting the cart before the horse?
