how to do with my studies ?

my major is english.it is the third year of my college life . BUT,i was so failed . Last year , i had bot passed a very important text of english major.It is so sardonic that my english is very bad. i can not listen to the teacher carefully.i am afraid.Everyone in the class is so understanding.i am the black sheep. my heart tell me i must tried my best to do it. i still remenbered i have pay so much attention on my studies.SOMEONE passed it without paied. is my methods on studies wrong ? grammer ? what is it ? i am eager to become a paticular person . i am hope to the sucess. i don't want to be a loser. sadness hopeless ............................ ............................. ........................... .//////////...........

Your written English will get better now you have joined MyLot. It will be good for you to read and to write as much as possible at MyLot. Your English is not perfect but you have started a discussion and it is understandable to read. You are eager and you are trying your best, so you should do well.

I don't know what part of China you are in, but I can tell you that you are not alone with those feelings. I was teaching TEM-8 writing last semester and I heard the same remarks from many of my students. This term I am teaching oral English to first year English majors. I will make the same suggestion to you as I did to them. Start saying good things about yourself. That is called an affirmation. I will see if I can find a good definition of the word for you but basically it is telling yourself that you are good. If you always tell yourself that you are bad, then you will never improve. If you tell yourself that you are good (even if it is not totally true right now), it will eventually become true. If you start writing in here often, I can help you with your writing skills.
