When reaching the story's climax, do you put down the book?

I am the same way. I can read for hours and hours and, when it comes down to the climax, I can't put it down. Even in the middle of the book, if there is a pivotal point, I won't put it down until it reached a conclusion for that particular part of the storyline.

If I have been reading for hours on end and I'm getting close to the end of the book where all the good stuff starts to come together. I will put it down and go ahead and do my chores and leave it for later. I know that sounds weird. But for me it's like having something really nice to look forward. I will even feel the anticipation all through out my day and I can't wait to get back to my book. What bugs me when I'm reading in bed is when I get close to the end and the words start wobbling all over the page. I don't want to put it down, but I will. I want to get everything out of the climax that I can.

Oh I absolutely hate to put a good book down especially when reaching the climax! I don't put it down unless it's a must, like say a fire or a tornado, LOL!

i used to read before specially when i am pregnant. and at the climax i cant put down a book. and i read it over and over again maybe about four to five times. thats is the heart of the story so i just want to absorb every word of it. now i can no longer have time to read. but i know one day i'll be having time to read again.

Oh, yes, when reading the climax of a story, I just cannot help going reading and reading till I have come to the end of it and would later think about the whole story from the beginning to the end when I get to bed. It would be like playing a movie in the mind when we recall the background of the novel.

I hate to put a book that I am interested down until I have read it all. I have been known to stay up half the night, just so I can finish reading a book I started.
