Do free hugs really make difference?

I've seen a commercial in NatGeo about free hugs, do you think it can make a big difference in you?

I enjoy hugs personally.
but if im alone and its late at night, a random creepy homeless guy wants a hug then id have to say no. but if im with someone then sure, id be willing to hug anyone and everyone :)
nothing against him or anything but where i live its not 100% safe and truthfully you cant trust anyone. so its always good to travel with someone
