If there was an online debt community????

That was dedicated to helping each of it's members pay off their debt, would you join to help?
It's just something I've been thinking about lately due to my debt and the debt of others around me, realizing that if everyone just pitched in a little each month the debt could be eliminated quite quickly.
What are your thoughts?

Thats actually a great Idea. You would have to regulate it and have people show proof of their debt and the reason for their debt. I would not give towards someones car payment. But medical bills, student loans. etc...
Theres enough business minded people on mylot that are wanting to make money maybe this would be a good time for us all to create a site that helps us and helps others.
I would love to help.

I would love it I just dont know how they would regulate it ya know? It would have to be someone very trustworthy. I have received much needed help from ModestNeeds I was lucky some of the stories on there are heart breaking. I am going to check into some of the other sites people have mentioned here.

I don't know how it would work. If everyone pitched in, it might, but the problem would be if there was a person who had a lot more than others it might not be fair. When everyone works together it does make the job easier, but everyone would have to do their part in order to make it work.
