What kind of errors were you getting in that Chat room?

It's a program called Paltalk and I get a just in time debugging error.. Pal support knows about this but I think it's messing up my computer to a point where I can't do a restore on my computer...

Yes it does work I just hit ok like 5 times and it runs fine... Paltalk people do know about the program.. But why would that screw up my restore could it be just that error on why it's not letting me do it?

I hate to keep asking questions and not providing answers... ;-) Will the Paltalk program run after you get that error message?

I have got those errors before also. I tried to do a system restore and chose the restore point and it didn't restore, but other times I have done the system restore and it did restore, so I am not sure why it does sometimes and not others. I think the computer has a mind of its own and is hard headed sometimes.

I can't agree more Steph that's for sure... A week ago when I was having problems it did fine than just recently problems.. My computer as I've stated above his running fine with out any problems except for my firewall just pops up and says it's not on when it is... but over all it seems to be running fine same as usual So I'm not to sure about all this...

It could have something to do with your antivirus software also prohibiting from it restoring also. It could be spyware or malware also. As long as it is running fine, you should be okay

System restore has long been used as the easy way to get yourself out of trouble, and it has proven itself to be very effective appraoch. Sadly, there has been a growing number of vviruses written that will have an adverse effect on System Restore, so it is not unusual to find that the option is no longer available. I see that you have already tried several different restore points, so I suspect that your only remaining option is to reformat the drive and re-install Windows to eradicate your problems. I wish that I could offer an easier solution, but this seems to be the obvious one to me. It helps to keep a full backup of your system externally, either on disks or an external drive, which would enable you to return to a clean system at any time.

the best thing that i could recommend you is to reinstall your operating system. saved all your work before reinstalling your operating system so they won't be erased when you do the reinstallation. after you reinstall the operating system, you should create a back up cd of your hard drive so next time there is a problem with your computer, just put those recovery cds in drive and you're good to go.

your computer is restored..... what you do is go into the C drive and then go to windows then system32 and then delete all those files because they are unnecessary.

No it's not restored it said that when it rebooted itself.. When the window came up... Umm why would I delete those files? You need those to keep your computer running correctly...

What are you talking about?! The entire kernel is in system32!!! The system services, the drivers, the registry hives...everything. If you boot your computer into safe mode, watch and see what loads up. Everything that loads is in system32 or drivers, one of its subfolders. I'm glad the OP knew better. Dear Lord!
