what do you think is the best present to give a girl on the first date ?

I think flowers are great. Actually, you don't have to give a present since it's your first date but I understand you want your date to feel special. Just be yourself, everything will be great. Good luck to your date.

I advise you buy a doll or something lovely like this.most girls like such presents.on the other hand ,if you buy some special thing,maybe the girl will consider you too "smart",will you understand what I mean?

I small gift is very nice because it speaks volumes about you. a single flower, a small box of chocolates, Something that you have chosen to remind her that you were thinking about her. Women love gestures like that and it doesn't have to be big nor expensive, in this instance it truly is the thought that counts. I would scour the florest shop untill you see the perfect flower and ask them to make it special with a ribbon or a touch of lace, Have fun

Where I live it is not at all usual to buy presents for the first date. I would feel very awkward if someone did that to me. Flowers would be sort of ok, but nothing expencive og personal

I would not advise you to give her anything but a flower...and that better be not so expensive, but beautiful and fresh...this way you can test her, too...to see how she appreciates your move. Gifts are usually offered when you have at least an idea of what she likes...you could screw it up bad to pick a totally wrong gift for her... First dates must be true, sincere and natural...if first impression is the wrong one, the thing could not continue so good.... Good luck!

I have had first dates but I dont recall receiving any gifts. How sweet of you to think about that. Well, if you know the girl already,you can give her something, but not something expensive, that's too much for a first date. The best would be a bar of chocolate, and don't tell her that that is a gift. Tell her it's something for her to take home and eat. It'll make you look sweet to her.lol Giving gift is ok, but not until you've known her for so long, and gifts shouldn't be that expensive.
