Do you keep them?

I have many text books from when I was in college. Did you keep your text books? I did keep a few that my daughter was surprised to see me putting on my new book shelf. I have my French Textbook and I just put it on the new shelf. It was time to empty all the boxes of books to see what I have been storing for many years. Other books I saved were dictionaries, which certainly can't be used in a box. One book that surprised me was a cook book, which was basic measuring and a couple recipes. Another was a computer book and we all know it would be good for a history paper, but not for running my laptop. Have you opened any boxes in your garage and received a surprise at the contents? Were you able to reduce your storage area? I sure feel better seeing the space reduced.
