Dirk Nowitzki is a great basketball player, and the dallas mavvericks has alot of talents in their team, but why cant they win an NBA title? this has been the most coveted crown of all, it has been ellusive to them, i just hope the arrival of Jason Kidd in their line up will help them win the title that every team disires. lets just hope that Jason Kidd can still cope up with the young players like Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, snt the likes of Kobe Bryant, Allen iverson. Dallas has all the fire poewr to win an NBA title. Will this be their season lets just wait and see...

The problem was the team wasn't good enough to win before the Jason Kidd trade because the west is just stacked with quality teams. The team after the trade isn't much better with Kidd, even though he has put up some big games assist wise. They risked trying to win now with Kidd starting to decline and they are not going to do it. They are going to miss Diop and Harris.

I honestly still do not think that the Mavericks can win the NBA Championship. Let's look at the facts: last season, the Mavericks ran into a Golden State buzzsaw that proved to be tougher, hungrier, and more skilled. This year, it doesn't seem like too much has really changed; the Mavs are winning, but there are teams that are still better: The Lakers, the Spurs, the Jazz, the Celtics, the Pistons are all better, the Warriors are still the perfect match-up to the Mavs. They gave up a big portion of their future to get Jason Kidd and he wasn't the end-all, be-all solution.
