How many shoes should a girl own?

I feel like I am shoe-less. I own a brown heel, a black heel, black flats and brown flats. Old runners... and thats it! I have gone all winter with NO boots. Planning on picking up a nice wedge, possibly boots, or new runners? How many shoes do you own? and advice on to which shoes are a must have?

I have lots of shoes but don't wear them all. I love shoes though I can't resist buying them.

There is no limit to how many pairs a girl can have. If you feel you only need three or four pairs then that's fine. I have so many that there are some that I haven't worn and I love shopping for shoes. It is so handy to have a pair of shoes that match every outfit.

I would think it would be practical to have a pair of gym type shoes for casual and exercise, a pair of flats that are practical yet nice enough to wear to church, a pair of summer shoes - be it flip flops, sandals, clogs or? and a pair of winter boots if the climate suggests it.

I would say I own about 25 pairs of shoes. I don't wear most of them, but keep them around just in case. lol. I have very large feet (women's 11W or 12W), so when I find a pair of shoes that work for me, I try to buy them, just in case I need them in the future.

I just bought a new pair of black heels last week, specifically for an evening out I have coming up on March 24th. They're FABULOUS shoes.... squared off pointy toes, 2" high, and no backs... so they're basically slip ons like flip flop sandals, but with a closed toe. I can hardly wait to wear them! (I don't get the chance to wear heels often).
All summer long I wear mostly flip flops and sandals. Some pairs are nicer than others, but I go more for comfort during the summer months. I have a few pairs of sneakers, but only one pair that fits nice and that I"ll wear.
I really ought to get rid of all of those shoes I don't wear, and likely never will. It's silly to have them taking up so much space when someone else might get use out of them.

That is truly a good question. Honesty that all depends on the person. Me personaly I have over 100 pairs of shoes. I am constantly mixing and matching my outfits to coordinate with my shoes. I think it's a must for me. You don't want to wear orange shoes with something like pink pants. The best shoes to really buy are either black or white as they go with everything and you are pretty much safe that you match with your outfit.
