Which kind of laptop is the best ?

I have no idea about the laptop .Does anyone can give some advice to me about the laptop .I want to buy it .But don't know which is the better one.The price should be under $1000.

i agree with the friend upstairs.but you can write down more details about the laptop.for example what will you do by using it?if you use it to play 3D games,i think,DELL is your best choice.its laptop has a good price as well as good quality.but if you use it only to browsing the Internet,see some films or write something,you can choose SONY or IBM.SONY has a very very good looking and IBM has very very good quality!

well, most laptop that have a good quality is above $1000 however, there are some laptops that is below $1000 but not as good quality. I would suggest NOT buying toshiba laptop. I bought one before and it broke. My friend bought one and it broke in just a year. So as to not over generalise, just some of their products are faulty so it is risky. I would suggest buying IBM laptop or ASUS or even DELL as to provide more stability
