i do. because my work location is not far away from my parents' house. it's convenient and economic for me to live with them. what's more,my mother is good at cooking. she also helps me wash clothes sometimes. i feel relax and warm in home.
what about you? do you leave your parents to live alone after graduation? why or why not? willing to hear your voice?

hi sophia! just wanted to mention that my little niece is also named sophia. ^__^
i still live with my parents (mother) even now that i am working. after i graduated from college, i was still living with my mother. first of all, i didn't have the money to get a house or apartment and live by myself because i didn't have work then. also, my mother didn't really push me to be independent. she actually prefers that all her children live with her. i think.
now that i have a work, i still live with my mother. it would be impractical to get an apartment or live in a boarding house if i could just live in our house for free. my work is far from home and i only go home every weekends. i don't have to rent an apartment near work because i get to stay in our office together with some other employees during weekdays.

its actually always the case in Philippine families. most parents would rather let their children to live at their home even if they are married already. my brother and his wife and daughter lives with us and my mom's completely fine with it. before, my brother and his family doesn't live with us and my mother always worries about them. now that they are with us, my mom's a little at peace.
i guess we're both lucky to be able to stay at home even if we are already working.

yes it's a necessary course everyone should go through.we won't realize the beauty and enjoy life unless we have tasted the hardship of life. play up,i'm sure you can do better.

i can understand how long and tough you feel in this period.your parents loose patients as they are worried about your work. calm down, just think over what you really want and go for it.
good luck

Thank you for your encouragement.I am doing my best. I 've been home for three months, for me it's a long time, I'm still worried about my work and it looks like my parents have no patience to allow me to stay. I often doins things very carefully in order not to make them angry.

i have not graduated, but i hope i will live with them!
in fact, that's very difficult for me!because i could't buy a house in the city in 2 or 3 years, and my parents are living in the country.if i want to live with them,i have to earn enough money to buy a house.
however,i will do my effort to live with my parents!~

i think your parents will be delighted if they learn your thought.after all, most of my friends regard it unfree to live with parents after stepping into society.they rather pay rent to live outside than live with parents at the same time loose more freedom.

i didn't mean that parents will limit our freedom badly. while if we live with them after take part in work,we'll affect their regular life more or less, such as return home midnight. in that case, they may wait you with worrying heart.

Well, I'm still a student now. And I will graduate in June with my Bachelor degree.
But I do prefer to work far from my home town. That is a challenge. Though you have to pay the house rent, electrical bills or something like that, it is the only way you can to do anything you want. It's impossible for us to live with parents for the whole life.

when i was a graduate who has just taken part in work with full passion and ambition,i had the same thought with you. to be self-help is a dream as well as an urgent expectation. while now,i choose to live with my parents in order to spend more time on taking good care of them.

my company and my parents' house are in the same city but there is a long distance apart. So on weekdays I live in the dormitory supplied by my company. and at weekend I usually go home for some delicious food and visiting my parents. I have no idea to afford a new house. I must work hard to make more money to live better. It has become one of my dreams. Gosh! Maybe someday I will change my life in some sense. First I like a new big house. how could I fulfill my dream.hope not too long way to go.

for most employees such as you and me,to afford a house owned by ourselves is a dream in current phase.if our work site is far from our home,we have to leave our parents to rent a place.you're lucky as your company offers the dormitory. i wish you to realize your dream some day. i think it's in near future.

My first job was when I was 16. So yes I still lived with them. I was a stubborn teen who moved out at 18. But I wish I had communicated. I may have stayed longer. Married with own family now, lived alone and with roomates after graduated.

I moved out as soon as I graduated. I didn't want to have to abide by my parents rules. Now that I have children of my own I decided my parents rules were not all that bad. I am married now so I live with my husband and children.

We have two houses, one in the province and one in the city. I moved to our house in the city when I entered college. Since then, I practically live away from my parents. After graduation, I got my job, I usually invite my mom and dad to come to the city so that I can treat them. I love when my mom's in the city because she fix my things and cooks delicious food for me.
