I walk long distances and have enjoyed hill walking and walking in wild places all my life, so my legs never ache because the muscles are well toned and used to it, but if I start another activity which uses different muscles I will feel them aching afterwards because they are muscles I have not used before. The best way to treat aching muscles is to have a relaxing massage. If you can lie in a hot bath that is also a wonderful way to recover from your efforts.

Yes i feel pain while walking. May be that is caused due to walking fast. I change my pace of walking and relax my muscles.
