I have traded in a couple of phones - one because I'd like to do my bit for helping the enviornment and secondly, yes because I wanted to help out my boyfriend's mother. She didn't have one and I had to upgrade mine from a European one to a US one. She still doesn't use it, I'm not sure she has even turned it on!!
