Of course he should resign. He was a perfect example of "do as I say not what I do" he is nothing but a hypicrite. Bill Clinton did not get off scot free -
Upon the passage of H. Res. 611, Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998, by the House of Representatives on grounds of perjury to a grand jury (by a 228-206 vote) and obstruction of justice (by a 221-212 vote). Two other articles of impeachment failed — a second count of perjury in the Jones case (by a 205-229 vote) and one accusing Clinton of abuse of power (by a 148-285 vote). Four Republicans opposed all four articles, while five Democrats voted for at least one of them. Upon passage of H. Res. 611, Clinton became the first elected U.S. president and the second U.S. president to be impeached, following Andrew Johnson in 1868. (In 1974, Richard Nixon resigned the Presidency before the House impeachment vote.)

Personally, I think should resign. He is in the public eye. He is supposed to have the public's best interests in mind. People trust him. Just because he is a high powered position does not mean he can get away with such things. If it was anyone else, they would get in trouble.

I think that I saw that he was going to. I am glad. We should only have trustworthy people in public offices.

Yes, and GWB lied to us and congress, and nobody did a thing about him! Interesting that he has a reputation of "change", catching massive fraud and then all of a sudden "he's" caught doing something wrong?? I think something fishy is going on.

He did resign already. Its nice he did that. And I hope everybody should do the same to avoid some more negative news about them. The moral of the story, dont vote for person whom you dont believe will serve the country best and whose background is of no good.

He's just a human being. I'm not saying that what he did wasn't wrong, but since when did you have to be perfect to be in office. That's what I say about Bill Clinton, but with Spizer he broke a law. So I agree that he should step down.

I think he should resign too. The news makes it sound like he's a pim'p of a ring of ladies. So if that's true, he should not be in office trying to uphold laws that he doesn't follow himself. He should step down from his position, it's not like there aren't even more crooked politicians to take his place lol.
