Pregnancy tests and all their glory

Well here is my question. I took a test two days ago and the results didn't show up so I tossed the test out. Then when I went back and looked there was a faint positive! I took another test today and it came out negative. I am not sure which one to believe since they are two different brands. Any help here would be very welcome.

It is rare that there are false positives but they can happen. The first test that you looked at, I am sure was invalid. The results can be flawed if you look at the est after a certain amount of time (which could cause a false positive). Some test leave an evaporation line when the urine starts to pass over, which can look like a false positive.
Are you taking any medicines that could cause a fake positive from a chemical imbalance?
Have you started your period yet? If not, I would go get a blood test from the doctor.

Well I am not on any meds that would effect this. I am having all sorts of symptoms, lower back ache, head aches, nausua, constipation, and I am very tired. I don't get my cycle because I am on depo provera right now. I am supposed to go to a free clinic tomorrow to get tested to be double sure. I just don't know what to think.

Personally, I think it is odd that you even could get pregnant on the shot since it is suppose to be one of the best birth control out there (it may be the best at truly 99% effective). Since you have all those symptoms I would think that is safe to assume that you are pregnant.
Don't worry yourself over this! Try to relax (I know it is hard to do) and get some rest.
