What CPM Means?

Hello my c0-mylotters, Can you enlighten my mind about this "$0.75 CPM for unique hits". I have encounter a lot of times from many different paid to click sites and usually it is found paid to promote areas. It says you are paid back. But what does CPM mean. Hope somebody would enlighten me about this.

Hi my friend, I'm going to try to explain you what's CPM. Hope you understand me because English is no my mother language. Well, CPM mean that your earn an amount when someone visit your page (website, blog...)one time per 24h with uniq ip. To earn this amount you need 1000 uniq visits. Personnaly, I earn with it, well when you sign-up for cpm, you receive a code to promote a banner or a page. Use many autosurfs to promote and so you can make cash.
