What shows do you let your children watch?

I have found that some of those shows on Nick jr and other networks like that are just creepy! I would monitor the shows my kids watched, even on a chidren's network. Cant they come up with better shows for little kids? What ever happened to the good ol' days of Face? Gullah Gullah Island? What about Veggie Tales? Now those were some goodies! LOL

Shows I let my children watch are Curious George, Dora, Deigo, Veggie Tales (its on saturday mornings on NBC), and my favourite show they watch is called Super Why? I'm not sure if it's in the states to or not, I'm in Canada. It's the best show ever, it's interactive and asks kids to find letters on the screen, asks them what letter makes this sound and encourages them to sound out words and read. I have a 4 year old and a 5 1/2 year old, my 4 year old finds the letters on the screen and my 5 1/2 year old does the letter sounds. Works on both their levels. They watch many other shows too but whatever they watch I make sure its good. I don't like shows with violence and I don't like shows where they talk rudely.
