How do I use Host Gator?

I just got host gator. I'm clueless here. I need help here because live chat people on host gator just want you to send a ticket and they either take forever to answer or they don't you what you need to know. I need like a step by step manual or something. I bought a domain from go daddy. I figured out how to transfer it but it will take a day or two to go through but the temp page they had me go to doesn't exist.
I need to know how to get my page started. From beginning to end. Is there a site I can go to. I've searched several browsers and typed in how to use host gator but found nothing. When to the forum and nothing. Please someone help. I really need to get this site up and running.

I had a site hosted at hostgator and it's not hard. In fact the easiest is to log into your Cpanel, go to file manager and go to index.html, change that to fit the main page of your site. If you need a full tutorial, I will be happy to write one for you, I was hosted there and it was not too difficult. Send me a message and YES I'LL HELP YOU! I love doing websites so much, that this stuff comes natrually.

Thanks you so much. I can use all the help I can get. I'm sure it would be easier for me if I have five minutes without my 2 year old son crawling all over me.
