If you won $10M in a lottery what would you do?

Oh, I love these questions. i do. It's like keeping hope alive. So if I do win that much, I would seek the services of a financial planner seriously. because for one thing, I don't want to grow old and be broke. Uhh uhh. I at least want to have some money to have and never work if I don't want to that's for sure. Once I see the planner, then I'll do the following Tithes and offering Educational fund in the name of my father Library contribution in my father's name house hunt(a true dream of mine) pay off debts do some travelling invest give to my kids, nieces, nephews. give contributions to Ovarian Cancer, Prostate Cancer, Parkinson's Disease and Domestic Violence(all things family members experienced) make sure my mom has enough to live comfortable and fix up her home chill I would probably provide a nice lunch to the folks I used to work with as a treat.

Not work anymore (at least not for anyone else). Put the 3 kids thru college for what they WANTED, not what would get them the best job. Then help them start businesses built around their dreams... Better than 1/2 the money into a CDARS account (insured for full amount, not like standard account insured to $100,000) and budget life around the income generated from the interest. Would target charities that help those who really can't help themselves (children, displaced workers) I got a ticket tonight for $275,000,000 (about $88,000,000 cash after taxes)... would be nice ;-)

If I won $10 million dollars, I would first pay off all of my debt, then I would buy a new house (the house of my dreams with all of the bells and whistles). I would help out some relatives. Then I would invest some of the money in the children's theater I have (we really could use our own building!). After setting aside a bit for savings and my children's future, I would look for some worthwhile causes to donate to.

i would rather choose the ability to earn $10M. than just by winning large sum of money thru lottery or other games of chances...it would be something you can be proud of from rags to riches and stay rich because you use your own ability...than from rags to riches and back to rags because you only relied on luck. the money will soon be gone if you didn't manage it right! but for the question if i had $10M. i will had my dream house built. i will had helped many people because of the jobs created thru my businesses. i will had able to donate much bigger amount to my favorite charity. and possible i will travel and see the world with my future wife...whoever she will be ^_^

Wow $10m would be so great. I would get myself a higher degree in a good college. I would get a nursing home of my own and have as much facilities in it as possible.Some i would save for charity.

If I won ten million dollars I would buy myself a thatched cottage with a large garden and a sea view, my mum a large bungalow with a stunning view of hilly countryside and my sister a huge house with a large garden near a good shopping area. I would buy a piece of land in Belize by the sea and build a tree house there. I would go off traveling to South America so I could cruise around the Galapagos Islands. I would give some money to charities that care for animals. I would go shopping to buy a spa pool, a summer house and a plants for my large garden.

Hhmmmm... I will buy my dream house and lot, start my own business, share some of it to my family, donate to church and charities. But I'm afraid I will never win a lottery because I never try it LOL

Wow, that would be nice. I think I'd go back and finish college, get my degree in criminal psychology. My husband and I would probably purchase a home, a nice home with a lot of space, with a small barn in the backyard, with horses, and a lake view from the backyard balcony. I'd share it with family and I'd put the rest in savings.

Wow, if i won $10M in a lottery will buy a huge mansion, a luxury car. And of course i will travel the world. I will also build my own foundation that will help children who cannot afford to study. I will also buy my parent and my sibling their own house and lot.

Study at Harvard, give a portion to my loved ones, and then give it to the religious organization of Mother Teresa of Calcuta. :)
