The different education between Asain and Western.

We all know that the education is all different in different coutries.But I think China and American can represent Asain and western.
In China,it is all teachers center while it is students center in American.So the basic skills education is very good in China while the poles of creetive is very good in American.
But which you can say is the better,no one!So we all hope to find a way which can stike a better balance between the poles of creativity and basic skills.This maybe the best way,I hope the day come earlier!

I think the education is quite different between these two countries. I think that Chinese students have a very heavy study pressure. And they hardly have their spare time to play. It seems they focus on their study and books only. Whereas American students seem to have more freedom in this aspect. They can have their own interests and they spend long time on sports.

With standards, Asians and Westerners are different. It doesn't matter though, as long as we put our hearts into education, we will achieve the real purpose of it.
If we have the highest and best education but we are not using it, I find that useless and disadvantageous. So, as long as we use what we have gained schooling to make our lives better and more meaningful, I find that something more valuable.
But if we can have the chance to grab a better education, why not!

Either it is basic education or creativity, it is clear that we have to learn more things in our life from different places and different people .... isn't it?

I cant say education system in one country is better than others. How success the education, dependent on how many success people come from it? Of course, we cant say also vocational school is not good compare to university or other education institution. Person will success depends on how they manage their life, but the way they struggle just varying one another.
For example, medicine program for medical school in singapore, malaysia, australia, spend for 5 years or more for degree MBBS. In US, Canada, and Philiipins, have the same system, 4 years for pre-med in college and 4-5yrs for medicine in medical school with degree MD. But they are graduated and working as doctor... to help the patients! The same professionals, with different ways of reach the education. How about China, how many years to take for medicine program? Are you using mandarin in every education institution?
