Are your children fastly approaching the day they will leave your home behind to forge a life for themselves?
Are you making plans of what to do with the new freedom you will receive?
I have two teens and I know the day is quickly approaching, but as of yet I can not bare to think about life without them here, attached still to my apron strings.

you have to let them go but not to far where you can't see them anymore or where they can't reach you. Everything will be alright , all they need are just guidance rom your experience as an adult , you do not need to spoon feed them anymore. they will know what to do just like you now.

I can remember when my parents were FINALLY going to have a life to themselves after rearing 4 children... now they are out of the nest, they are always asking when we will be coming to see them... sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for!
Thanks

My daughter will be 14 in July. I honestly don't know what I will do when she leaves our home. I will be so heart broken and lonely! My husband is still a soldier and probably will be for the next 15 years. So, when she leaves, he will still be active duty. I can't imagine her being an adult and on her own!

Mine are 11 and 6, so I still have a ways to go. As they get older I am seeing how they don't need you as much and I am slowly getting some free time back. When they were little I couldn't imagine having the free time again, it is a nice feeling BUT I do miss SOMETIMES the dependency. LOL

don't worry......God gets you all ready for them to leave....and when you think they are gone...they come back at least one more time! And for the first time in my life I am doing exactly what I want to do....yet I still fit them into my life with first priority! But it's actually fun to find your freedom again.
