How do you get stars next to your name?

I've only been a member for about a day, trying hard to post away with some quality...but I was wondering, how do people get the star next to their name with a number in it and what does it mean exactly? I don't get exactly how the rating system works on here, someone wanna help me out? Thanks!

I am not sure, but i think its something to do with number of activities...if you reach a certain number then probably they will give u a star next to your name ^_^

A star will appear next to your username after you have reached 100 posts. The number on your star indicates your overall reputation here at myLot. The higher the number, the higher your rep. Welcome to myLot!

Welcome to mylot! You will recieve your star rating as soon as you reach 100 post. The rating is your reputation on this site. it will be between 1 and 10. The higher your number the better that you reputation on this site is. Just make sure that you are being a "good mylot citizen" LOL and you should not have a problem with having a higher number. Also make sure that you are selecting a best responce to the peson that answers your post the best this will help to raise their star level, and when you post quality resonces that mylot member will select a best responce as well. Well its a pretty straight forward that, when you did post your 100th post you did find a star next to your name, and the higher the star rating, your reputation in mylot is higher...So keep posting!!!
