China and world

I wouldn't go as far as to say China is a super-power, but I think that the people of China have proven themselves, as far as the rest of the world is concerned. We saw lots of news footage here after the recent earthquake, and it was mostly the rest of the public who were helping the injured and bereaved. I was touched by the concern of the other people, and the way the public banded together to help the people affected. I suppose this is what you must have to do when you cannot rely on your government to help you.

hi ready1022,welcome to mylot.glad to see that we have a new member of chinese family here. china is developping fast and taking an important role of business affairs in the international political and economic areas of the world. but i'm sure that we have to do better in future and the USA is the only super country in the world now.there is still a long way ahead of us.
