I would rate Doctor Zhivago as the best romantic novel I have ever read.The author Boris Pasternak has made the wonderful characters, Yuri Zhivago and his sweet heart and inspiration Lara, really immortal. Everything they do is influenced by the course of events affecting Russia.There is no authorised relationship between them. Yet they are cloest possible. Fate separates them twice. once the separation is even permenent .Severe agonies and tragedies extending to generations after thier death is there. Still what a beautiful love! We never feel they have done anything wrong.What do you think ?
