You know why I like Shawarma? I guess because of the spicy taste and the sauce with vegetable, beef wrapped in pita bread.
It's a Middle-Eastern Style sandwich! every time I go out for shopping I always buy a two Super Special just for me.
For everyone doesn't know shawarma are most made outside the restaurant. you can spot their shop by massive towering logs of revolving meat with their vertical cookers that are sizzling the rawness of the meat.
Shawarmas toppings are, sliced tomatoes, onion, cucumber, cheese with white sauce and chili if you want spicy--wrapped around the pita bread.
Try it! So you can experience the taste of Middle-eastern sandwich style!

I so so love shawarma too!!! I think I want to get ready now to go out and buy a super special!!! This question made me hungry LOL =)

I have something to share to you about my own shawarma!
Theres a pita bread and ceasar salad sauce which is available in the market.
I tried a Filipino Shawarma which is Pork or Chicken the white meat(slice thinly) mix with Soy sauce and calamansi.
After an hour grilled the meat.
Prepare the vegetable like cabbage, carrots thinly sliced, tomato, cucumber, cheese if there is a white cheese try it because it's much tastier than the ordinary and onion.
If your pita bread is regular size try to put in the plate then all the vegetable then the meat.
pour it with the white sauce and if you like it hot do some hot sauce in it.
then mix it.
Presto lol...

We have an adaptation from that on the east coast of canada.. It's called a donair. It's ground beef with spices and onion and tomato in a pita, with SWEET sauce. made with milk sugar garlic and vineger. mmm i miss those. i live in ontario now and they dont make them the same here. mm i should ask my mom to send me one.
I like chicken shish tayok.. i didn't spell that right, but its middle eastern or greek, i'm not sure. mmmm those are so good. greek and middle eastern food is soo freaking good. I LOVE hummus. . it is the bomb!
