I think he has to leave Chelsea not matter what. With fierce competition from Nicklas Anelka and Didier Drogba, both vying for the places in the starting line-up, Shevchenko has no chance. To Milan or not, Chelsea is not the place for him.

It's not just the competition. Mourinho never wanted him and he was proved right as Shevchenko hasn't done well in England.

Do Milan want him back and does he want to return?
He hasn't done well in England and does need to leave Chelsea but I think you're right, that he has had his chance at Milan and shouldn't return.
Milan does need to get some younger players though, as the team is quite old now but I don't think Shevchenko is the answer.

I think he should return to AC Milan. The FA of England is playing a double standard on all the players and Shevchenko knows that. In order to proof his skills and talent, he should play with good and respectable club. AC Milan will fit to his game unlike Chelsea.

I guess he should come back.
he was a good player in milan,he played well and entertained people.however, when he arrived at chelsea, he is nothing - he hardly score.
If he can play a good football in Milan, then I think that he shloud return. why waste such a good player?

Shevchenko is a milanist for ever. He indeed made some mistakes, but he gave us more. We should forgive him.

I hope he does go back to Milan. I think they'll appreciate him and use him appropriately. I don't think Chelsea have given him a chance. They have too many high priced people, some are not being used to their best. With Sheva having to compete with Drogba, Anelka and others, he's not getting a fair chance. He was filling in very well in Drogba's absence, before he got injured. If he would get a fair chance, he'd prove he could play with them.
Milan want him and he wants to go back. According to a Ukrainian football site, he's apartment shopping in Milan already. I also understand that Milan want to pair him with Ronaldinho from Barca.
