are you a "closet" mylot user?

In the beginning I felt exactly like you, worrying about what others would think. I told my family first and of course they laughed. They think its adult entertainment. Now I tell everyone.

In the sense you mention it here, yes, I am a bit reluctant to mention myLot to friends who are not already here, but that is more because most of them are not very computer literate and it is hard enough to get them to configure their e-mail properly. Also, as my own reaction to myLot when first hearing about it was "You've got to be kidding." I'm not a salesman type person, so I don't push it at that point.

I tell everyone. You should tell people so they can sign up under you. My sister just signed up under me and its nice to have her under me even though she hasnt posted yet. (shes sick)

Yeah I tell everyone.. so they can chat and make money. I mean anyone can do this.. and it's really easy. I try to get lots of people to join. The more people join, and the more they chat. the more money everyone makes.

I've told all my internet friends about MyLot, and a few of them have even signed up! But as for my real-life friends... I dunno. I'm sure most of them would be like, "It's just a waste of time and you don't make that much money...." But its not all that different from posting on any other type of internet forum (which all of my friends do!), but I don't think they'd understand if I tried to explain it like that. ;) So while I don't go out of my way to hide the fact that I'm on MyLot, I don't go around inviting people I know...

I share it with everyone. Your friends know you already so why be scared about sharing mylot with them. If they join and think your wacko, you can start a new discussion "Am i wacko?" LOL You are who you are!

I am not worrying about what they will think, at all. I am e-mailing whoever I can with my referal link, so that I can get more referals, and maybe make a bit more money on here. I don't care what they think, and to most people, any site that earns a bit of money can't be for wackos. There may be a few wackos on here, but that's not the average MyLot member.

no. i dont think i am.. i have invited my friends over at mylot, those who have access to the internet and i pursuade them to spend time on mylot than any other sites... so here we learn, discuss, interact.. and earn money all at the same time. :D
