I started or replied to a similar discussion when I first started on mylot. That's been about 2 years now. So do you know this show? I fondly remember midnight movies in Georgetown to see the film and throw hot dogs as the screen. WHat are your rocky horror memories?????

My biggest memory of the movie was going to see it 4 times and remembering to bring my rolls of toilet paper after the first time...in order to throw it during GREAT SCOTT!

I'm pretty sure the first time I watched this movie was in my father's den in the basement of my grandmother's house. I was laughing my butt off, even though I didn't really get all of it, because I was so young. Later I went to a couple of midnight showings with friends, and that was always fun. :)

I love this movie. I just seen it for the first time last year, I guess I'm behind on the times. My friend brought it over and I fell in love, she then bought it for my b-day. Now I can recite every line and know every lyric. Love it.

I saw RHPS early on and have seen it, oh, about 75 times or more. I lost my "virginity" with a girl who went dressed in her corset and fishnets and took me to the back row. Talk about first impressions! I have an old vhs that was given to me by a friend, it was bootlegged in Okinawa and has Japanese subtitles. Truly a classic. Too bad there are no theaters showing it now where you can be fully involved.

I have only seen Rocky Horror on tape at home.I would have a little Rocky Horror party at home.I used to throw rice and use the lighter and other props. But the last time I just did the Time Warp.Anyway I love the film. And every time I see Susan Sarandon the first thing I think is " Damn It Janet."

Frank N Furter - Tim Curry as Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Picture Show
I've been a huge fan of the Rocky Horror Picture Show since 1990. I even bought my own copy on vhs back then. I don't remember exactly how much I paid for it, but it was hard to come by, so I must have paid more than I would have for most other movies at the time. I didn't actually see the show live in a theatre until Hallowe'en 2006. That was a blast though! Granted, instead of lighters, we had to use flashlights, and no hot dogs were thrown, and no water spraying was allowed either. I would've loved to see it done PROPERLY. I did my best to dress up as one of the guests at the party too. And I remember having to look up the list of "supplies" online to make sure I had the right things for throwing. I almost called out something at the start of the film, when the lips are singing. Something along the lines of, "You can tell this movie was made before Crest Whitestrips!". ROFLMAO!!! But I didn't have the guts. Maybe next time?
