Do you feel pressured when you reserve a library book?

I do. I feel as if I need to finish it ASAP so that the next person anxiously awaiting it will get it. I just finished the new Dean Koontz book and feel bad that I didn't take it back right away.
btw, I've been reading Koontz since waaaay back when his books were authored by Dean R. Koontz. I still call him "Deaner Koontz" in my head. And he never, ever seems to look any older on the book jackets! Hmmmmm.....

Hello Dragon!
NO way! I feel No Pressure!
Often i take the same book 2-3 times! so, many weeks!
My Library is knowing i have Fibromyalgia and sometimes i am Fibrofog and NOT able to read at all few days! They accept and respect me with this problem, i am lucky maybe!
* Ask them what they think about if you take more time with the same book, they will let you know directly and you will feel better then ok
Good Luck! Good Reading!

You have a good reason not to hurry! You seem blessed with a positive attitude and a good library staff. :-)
Thanks for the reply, I never thought about people who are disabled when I'm impatient for a reserved book. Have a great day!

We have a small, very inactive library in town, no overdue fines at all. Still, when I check something out I fell like I have to get it done right now, it's the same sense of urgency that I feel when I rent a movie, even though my librarians couldn't be more laid back.
So, yes, me too.
