I am not very sure of it. It seems to be very promising for now because I see a lot of job openings that require IT experts but this may all change in a few years because I see more and more people taking up degrees in IT. For example, the demand for computer engineering related jobs was very high in my country in the pat two years but now, people with that graduation find it hard to get jobs due to the competition faced.

I am awaiting my university application to be approved. Like you, I have also applied for an IT degree which is computer science but that is my second option. I chose chemistry as my first choice. I had no choice to put those two in my university application because they are the only ones I am interested in. I just hope my application for chemistry is accepted.

Of course, it is, I think.
it is so easy and fancy, the life become so convenient, that's why I can see you here. Now, people cann't leave computer, in future, the computer will be more and more popular, and the information security will be most important on IT.
So, do your major, and find a good job.
Best wishes.
