Family Sues School Over Shirt Gun Image

The tshirt that started the whole thing - T-shirt the boy was wearing in honor of hisuncle serving in Iraq. He was given detention because he refused to flip it inside out...

A 14 year old Pennsylvania schoolboy is fighting back after being sent to detention for wearing a t-shirt with a gun imaged on it in honor of his uncle serving in Iraq. Basically he refused to flip it inside out and he was given detention. His parents are now sueing the school, saying that it is in violation on his first amendment...
