Being poor has never been easy. We live on 500 bucks a month, I can't work because I'm partialy deaf. Anyway I wrote about it in a topic called How Poor Are You, so you can find it. Anyway, is life easier with money? Do you think it is?

From my experiences, life is a lot easier with money because nowadays, it is money that seems to make the world go round. People today are very realistic, only a few people will be good friends with you if they know you are poor. And if you tried to borrow any money from them, most of them will try to avoid you. I am not a citizen of the country I am currently staying in, because of this, I do not have many privileges unlike the citizens and in my case, no money means you queue up at the very far end of the line or sometimes, even worse: no money means no talk.

Oh my goodness,i do not see how you can live on 500.00 a month....We make around $3,000 a month and it takes it all to live..I am just thankful that my house and my car & truck is paid off,but i have other bills...I am sure that you could get assisstance from some where, maybe you could even get food stamps..I don't know where you live but my light bill alone runs a little over $200.00 a month....I do agree is is best to have enough money so you do not have to struggle...I am certainly not rich but i have enough to where i can pay my bills and put a little back for savings..I would think you could get some type of assisstance since you are partially deaf...

I certainly think being rich will relieve lots of stress from people, but I don't think life will be significantly easier in the long term. There's so much more in life that can cause problems, like family, health, and love relationships and stuff.

I agree completley that life is easier with money. I can not work because of complication with my post traumatic stress disorder and due to my boss not giving me a record of employment (I stopped working there a month ago) I am unabel to apply for unemployment yet. I am trying various "money making schemes" to make enough to pay my rent and get some groceries but it is proving to be very difficult.

Yes,money is important for our life and it can make our life easier, but you can't say that "being poor has never been easy".And I think sometimes more money isn't good.We should only earn the money that enough for our cost.
