Yes I do. I read every response and every comment. I have not started any discussions, but i have read almost all of the comments and responses on the posts I have responded to. By reading comments and other people's response, we get more info and understand more about the discussion and try to post much better responses.

I do look at the comments that come to me by email. If it is something that needs to be responded to, then I do. Some of the comments are just agreeing and there is nothing I can really add to the discussion so I don't go back in to it. After I look at the message, I save it into a folder for future reference.

I read every single response that I get to my discussions, even responses I get to my responses of other people's discussions. I don't comment on them all because mylot discourages that, but if I have something besides the standard 'thanks for commenting' I always try to leave a comment for them. But everything is read.

I normally read to the comments on my responses, I love to read comments. It shows that the host was indeed interested in a meaningful discussion and he/she gave due attention to our replies. Posting comments on our responses is a moral booster to us and atleast I feel elated and very pleased to see comments of the host on my responses. I find that most of the hosts are very nice and most of them, always post their comments on my replies. I do not delete any of the comments, without going through it.

I didn't know you could delete anything from here...
But, to answer this discussion, I've broken away for almost a year and between then and now, I really don't have the heart to go back through the old ones to read them. Most of them, I wrote when I was a very angry person and wanted to vent. Oh, did I want to vent. For that, I am sorry.
But, thank you for allowing me to come over and having this discussion with you. I quite enjoyed it. Take care now.

I always read the comments on my response... and would comment back if i need to make a point or to add more information... i love to receive those comments because on my part... i comment to all those who respond to my discussions...
It is also nice because seeing those comments mean that i wrote someting that caught the interest of not only the one who made the discussion... but other members as well...

I read ever single response I get to all of my discussions. I would not even think of just delete a response. I don't read them through email notifications but rather by coming here and tracking them. I admit that if I sense that a person here just reads and ignores responses, I tend to stop responding to their discussions. I know it is not always possible to respond to each comment but some effort could be made to respond to a few. IMO, of course.

I do just to cover the whole topic of discussion and you can find out some interesting things by just asking. Unfortunately, alot of times people just give their response and never return to the discussion and some questions go unanswered but I do genuinely want to know.
