I see more and more posts that talk about ptc sites and I ignore just about every single one of them. I'm not sure if they are allowed or not, but they don't interest me personally at all. Not to say I don't belong to a few because I do, but I don't advertise them here or talk about how much money I have made on them and I just wondered how many people respond to these kind of posts? Do you find them interesting in a discussion here on this site?

I just wonder how they manage not to get their discussions deleted and if they really get all that many responses to them.

haha i just respond to ones that i'm interested in and which i feel might help me out. i too try not to post to topics that have links there as like many have said, they tend to get deleted. i don't really count how many i respond to though since i'm not really paying attention to that.
but i do look at interests with making money since i'm trying them out too so i'll usually be looking at others' opinions, even if they do have links, i don't join immediately unless i feel ok or want to try it out.

Have you found that by doing so that you are losing any money if their discussions get deleted?

well, i have never really though too much about it. yes, some posts of mine do get deleted though i have no idea which posts they are and all.
but since some others are saying that they get less when their discussions get deleted, then i guess it must be so. for me, i haven't noticed that much change since i just earn around what i usually earn anyway. though i'm not sure if i could actually be earning more. i just have to learn from others i guess.
sorry couldn't help you out much here.

I belong to a few, but don't find them very beneficial. I can earn more on here in a day then I can earn on any of those in a month. LOL. I don't know why I find it so irritating to constantly open my email to solicitations to join these sites.

I definetly respond and have posted some. I am always looking for new ways to make money and theres people I can trust on here to get advice from & hear about there experiance with a program. If they say it works then it must work. I would never spam someones comment box or anything like that. If someone wants to come to my profile and sign up great we can help each other make money but thats totally there discression. At least for me every penny counts. But on the flip side I am not only at MyLot for that. I love reading most of the everyday discussions. I hope more people sign up for Mylot to bring more thoughts & ideas here. And even referring people to MyLot would be the same kind of thing in my opinion.

I thought about it more and if you mean the ones where all it is is a referrel link and the person has a green man icon (hasnt personilized it) and they have like 7 posts? No, I definetly wouldn't respond that is spam.

i response to them ometimes if i see there is a good opportunity to try it out. in my opinion, it doesn't matter in here as long as you don't put any referral link in your topic discussion. if those kind things is prohibited by mylot, then why it should any "make extra money" in interest section?

Good point and I honestly don't know, unless its to discuss opportunities without trying to solicit someone to join them.

I do have a look but often don't respond to them. I have just added a new friend and that is all he/she posts. I have checked out the site but am not interested. I just pass most of them by!

Are you talking about the discussions which refer to promoting other sitesunder the category of make extra money..
Well i did respond to one or two earlier but everytime i do .. in the next couple of days the whole discussion gets deleted and so my post number gets reduced.. I don't think that they are allowed to be posted here at mylot.. Moreover i haven't gained much inofrmation from such posts.. So i just ignore them now..
Actually its very difficult for me to remain online all the time so i respond to only few discussions in a day which i find of my interest..

I certainly can understand wanting to help someone if they need help.

I regard them as spamming and don't respond to them.
If they happen to be in my friend's list... I turn their notification "off".
If it is obvious that they only ask the question as a way to get referrals... I report them... and they get deleted.
If you are prepared to breach the rules... you need to be prepared to face the consequences.

I agree with you, kbourgerie, that there are far too many of these tyhpes of discussions on myLot. I thought the guidelines prohibited these kinds of solicitation, but it does seem that many of them go unnoticed. I have no interest in these sites myself, because they are usually tedious and take far too much time out of my day. In my opinion, they are not worth the effort.

Dear friend,
I just go through those sites, but I do not have any to contribute just getting informations. Still there are many other topics other than these to respond or to contribute from my side. Still I find it bit difficult to go through all the them but just read those heading or topic title. But other side they are marketing their product which may get a customer if would be there potential refferer. Anyhow I had send my links of mylot to many but no refferers still now I had got. May it depends most according to taste of people what topic they do want to respond.
