i believed that what you are now or what youve been through whether it is good or not favorable were only the consequences of what choices you had made when your still younger...just like what happened to my son who chooses the gigs and hanging out with friends rather than attending classes...at 27 still unemployed and still a student...but still not too late to make some changes and he did made some detour of his easy go lucky life...right now hes going to graduate this coming april 22 2008 (in college)and hope that the changes he made will continue to a better life ahead of him..what about you in life changing situations...or had you made some choices that in the end you regret it..or content with it..?

yes you are right. most of the times they do. but not always. i have seen in my life, i took right choices. i studied well, became an engineer from one of the elite colleges in my country. stood first also. i had been a throughout topper. m But although i am working in an MNC as SW engineer, there are lots of things that i am not getting. it pains more when i see people less qualified getting opportunities.

i guess your not that lucky ..just wait for your turn..it will double when it comes..sometimes promotions is base on whom you know and not on what you know..its the trend in our country..and it did happened to my husband..for 5 years weve been married he was not promoted in his work..but after that all is well his salary was raised and that includes his rank..hes an engineer too (mechanical)and from that day on forward weve been blessed through hard work...

Hello vanities,
When I was young, most of the choices I made in my life were determined by my parents. I thought by doing so I will make them happy but eventually I realized that sometimes, I felt regret with the choice. I don't regret to follow what they told me to do but I regret for not being strong enough to follow what my heart told me to do. Whatever it is as parents, most of the time they are right and I understand that no parents will choose something that will destroy the life of their beloved children.

what I am now is the consequence of my choice I had made when I sill a high school student. At that time, studying is the only thing I should do. and among the subjects I took I like biology and unfortunately I couldn't think of other better choice to further my university study. So I selected the biology for my future. And now after almost 10 years, I work in this area. If only I would change the past, I would change my future.
