My query is that if i start a new discussion, will i get paid every time a person responds to it? What if i comment on someone else's discussion and then somebody else comments on my comment? please help with this question....

You get paid once per discussion, whether you posted the topic or respond to someone else's. But the amount you get paid is dependent on quality contributions. So, if you get a lot of responses, it seems the pay for that would be slightly higher than a discussion with only 1 or 2 responses. Also, you don't get paid for each comment you leave on the responses you get, but it is nice to respond to people if they gave a very thoughtful answer and you have something to add.

Ok. thank You. One more thing is what if my discussion attracts a lot of responses? How much do you think the average payment is, for each discussion started? I still have not reached the payment level.... Thanks very much.

Average is one or two cents per post. To figure it out, keep track of how many posts you make in a day, then see how much your earnings are for them. If you want to know whether you get paid more for posting or responding, spend a day doing nothing but responding to other discussions, and see how much you get paid. Then spend a day only posting topics, and compare the pay. That way you can figure out how to make the most.

Yes you will get paid every time a person responds to you and you will also get paid when some one else respond to your discussion. If any body responds to your respondse then he will get paid for responding i dont know if we too will get paid for that.

ok. But what if i generate a lot of responses? Do I get paid for all that? What is the average amount you earn when you start a discussion and receive a lot of responses?

Mylot pays for single response to may be it pays for single response to our reply. If they pay for every response to our response then every body on mylot will earn a lot of money which is not happening. So they are paying you only for a single reply or not paying for reply to your reply.

I don't know if you get paid for getting a lot of responses but all I know is you do get paid for replying to a thread and posting a new topic, uploading pictures. I just know this. I don't think they pay for something more then this and you get paid more if you make quality posts and longer ones;)

From what I understand one doesn't get much for starting a discussion (maybe nothing at all) rather more for responding to a discussion. On the other hand, if we don't start discussions, and if others don't, what will people have to respond to?

hmmmmmmmmmm That's a good discussion which every new user of mylot would like to know about.......... So as i think if we start a discussion we surely get paid and as many as responses we get we get paid more and more. But don't know how much we get paid for each discussion etc......... Have a nice day!! Keep Posting!!

yes you are paid. but not before you get atleast one response to it. when you get atleast one response, your number of post is increased by one and you get paid. I think you do not get when you comment on somebody's response.
