Should the mayor have used the term "Lynch Mob" in his recent speech to refer to those people who believe he should be removed from office? Especially in light of the racially charged concept of "lynching"?

Lynchings were not just racial, and were probably more common against white people in the mid to late 1800's out west. I think that people take the whole racial thing to far. Some people want to believe that everything is racially based, when really its just not. The funny thing though, is half of the people who want to cry and play the racial card so fast, are racest themselves, which is why it comes to their mind so fast.

You make a great point about the fact that the majority of lynchings, historically speaking, were probably not racially based. Do you think, because the mayor has mentioned racism so many times as a factor in his "persecution," that he may be rather racist himself?
