Does any one else get really fed up with having to listen to usually really boring conversations on public transport?...
Recent conversation I was forced to listen to went like this
"Hi yeah nah on the bus(laughing) nah goin to BK yeah right.. nah did he..see you laters"
Can you beat that for a really waste of time boring conversation.

I DONT think that mobiles should be banned, they cant ban them anyway, what are they going to do, fine you for talking! lol
I dislike people shouting very loudly on public transport, but everyone uses their phones on public transport, you probably have. I use mine all the time. I dont think that there should be a ban on them, its just how the world is changing! people just got to get used to it!

that's the catch with public transports... it's cheaper than driving your own car, but with maximum disadvantages.

For most of the things ban is must but I know nobody can do this. In public transport, while driving etc.

Go to Japan, they ban mobile phones on public trains. Totally peaceful ride!
I can tolerate conversations on public transport mostly.
What I cant tolerate are some jerks blasting their music on their mobile phones, everybody has a ride to have a peaceful and comfortable ride and this noise pollution caused by them is simply irritating!

Totally fed up.
I hate the ones were they give a running commentary.
I'm about 10 minutes well it's about five minutes now.
What no I'm just getting the buzzer to stop the bus
That's me getting to the door now
Aye I'll see you in 5 minutes
Aaargggghhh.
There should be a law against it like the one for not using one when you're driving. I can't see why they wouldn't pass that law.

I totally disagree to ban mobile phone on public transport. Know doubt it is a nuisance for someone to talk out loud over the mobile phone but that is the purpose of having mobile phone, to bring it around and make or receive phone call. However, the person having mobile phone should know the limitation of using mobile phone. Everything has it etiquette so you can advice him or her to tune down his or her voice while taking over the mobile phone.
