I wish I had family to lean on right now but I don't. My mother passed away five years ago and I have no real close siblings or aunts I can turn to. I am greatful that my son is 8 and will be a big help, and when daddy isn't working I am sure he will too. If I can get through the first 6mo. I figure I will be okay :)

Are you close to your husbands family or have any friends that could lend a hand. Maybe someone from church would be willing to step up at different times.

No ufortunately my bf is not close with his family and they all live back east far from us anyway so no help there. I think it will be tough to get through this alone but my son can help and once I get through the first year or so I think it will be alittle better. Thanks for the advice.

Congratulations . I am a 40 year old of a son who would have been 19 in November, a soon to be 15 year old (Sundays her birthday), and a 7 month old baby girl. Plenty of rest before the twins come is a must, and have lots of help planned for when they do arrive. Any news on what you are having? Try signing up for a couple of the websites, that I belong to, they can be helpful, I will list them.

www.babycenter.com
I also signed up for the diaper websites like pampers, luvs etc. they send you alot of coupons and free samples. Again best of luck with the twins.

Thanks for the info, I am having a boy and a girl. I was thinking of signing up for one of the twins sites and I think I will start getting twins magazine, those should be very helpful along the way. Thanks again.

God Bless you. I do not have twins, but an 8 & 7 year old as well as a 7 month old. While I am not a "Holy Roller" But God, or someone above only gives us as much as we can handle. How about the bookstore for a book on twins and such. I know you will have your hands full, but you will do well. best of luck. Be sure to post when the twins arrive. :)

Well sounds like even though you don't have twins you have your hands full :) I did look at the book store didn't really see much on twins I liked, I feel like I will know more on what I need help with when they are here. I will post when they come for sure, getting close now. Thanks.

Congratulations! Having twins is great. You will need your husband to help you out with taking of the two babies. Your pediatrician will help you how to feed your babies and of course you will need a helping hand in the first few months. I am sure you be adjusted after the first two months. It may not be as difficult as what you think it will be. God has given you these two . I am sure he knows you will be able to take of them. Keep smiling.
