What is your favorite inspirational quote or saying?

i hate to be pridictable but for me "sieze the day" encapulates everything that makes you a person. to reach out and make things happen.

1. Do your best and trust God for the rest." 2. The grass may be greener on the other side, but someone still has to mow it. 3. Though you may be on the right track, you still need to keep moving. 4. Judge a man by his questions, not his answers. 5. Always be who you are, because those that matter don't mind and those that mind, don't matter. 6. A friend is one who knows everything about you and loves you anyway. 7. I once dreamed of earning the salary, I am now starving on, LOL. OOPs, not very inspirational, is it?

I LOVE inspirational quotations. One of my very favorites goes like this, "You don't quit playing because you grow old, you grow old because you quit playing." Hi momma. I have this one in my office. "I shall pass through this world but once. Any good therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let it be now. Let me not defer or neglect it, for ....I shall not pass this way again". I have others, but this one is my favorite.

My favorite quote is from Liz Murray, "There is always a way through things if we work hard enough and look close..." I always see and feel it as an encouragement and an inspiration. She grew up in the slam streets of New York. Earn what she is now and didn't put the blame to her parents. JNY

I have one hanging over my bed in lovely old style script, but I suppose it could be hung anywhere. It's a quote from Robert Browning in a poem to Elizabeth Barret Browning: *Grow Old With Me, The Best Is Yet To Be*. I find it inspiring as it reminds me always to look to the future and what it could bring. It comforts me when things are not the best between me and my *better* half. It encourages me to think beyond the now and it's problems to what could be in the future.

My favorite inspirational quote is from a verses on the holy Bible. On the book of isaiah 44:2 "I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born". I like this quote because its tell me that i been love by the Lord even before i was in my mother womb. And it give me confident that because of that amazing love, he will not let me get harm or neglect me on my downess moment of my life.

I just found a new one that I liked by Eckhart Tolle "You do not become good by trying to be good, but by finding the goodness that is already within you, and allowing that goodness to emerge." Another one I like that I have on my bebo.com page is "Always be who you are, because those that matter don't mind, and those that mind, don't matter." Not sure who wrote that though.
