Good morning I just heard on the radio that the American people are now more worried about the financial problems and how people have no faith in the economy and are holding on to what little money they have and are not investing in America. This is the first time in a long time that the war in the Mid East has been second on the lists of problems that concern the American public.
Has any one ever heard of causing a bigger problem to take minds off the current one, I believe the USA has the power to create such a problem just to take the light off the war that no one wants. I would love your thoughts

The USA was founded on,"In God we Trust!" But that was then, and this is now. Today its, " IN Money we Trust!" No way would Washington ever consider devaluating the "sacred" America Dollar just to take the Public-mind off their financial Problems and the Iraq War. The USA has shot it's self in the foot, but it's not about distracting the American people. It is all about the Two Terms in office of George W Bush!

I couldn't have said it better myself! No, this problem is genuine, and it's come about because of very poor management and a lack of strategy. It looks like we're all victims of GW's vendetta against Saddam Hussein.

The goverment doesn't have that much power over the peoples pocketbooks. We've set ourselves up for this for years by outsourcing jobs, increasing gas prices & such. Heck we don't really make very much in the U.S. anymore. We've become a country of distributers. Lots of people saw this coming, it has little to do with the war.
