Trying to make my site number 1 in google

I am trying to make my site number 1 on google searches for "free Sfuff". it is a site all about the frees stuff you get on the Internet. I have just been researching how you do this on google and lots of websites offer this information - if you are willing to pay - such as get your site to number one on Google in five days by giving me $$$$$. I am all about how we can do this for free and as such I have added a section to my blog all about getting to that coveted number 1 spot on Google without giving someone my hard earned cash. I plan to record the changes I maake to my site with the aim of Google no 1 for the search term "Free Stuff".
